Rock Your Hearing Aids for Halloween!

Wesson Hearing Aid CenterBlog

This year instead of covering up your hearing technology, make it an essential Halloween accessory! There are so many fun activities during Halloween and a lot of  excitement that can make hearing more difficult, so make it a priority to wear your hearing aids in order to embrace the holiday festivities. There are a few things you can do to rock your hearing aids this Halloween.

If you really want to get into the holiday spirit, you may want to think about decorating your hearing aids. Deck your hearing aids out with spooky little charms, add some fun and festive stickers, or add some bling with black and orange sparkles. Make it entertaining—you could even dress up your hearing aids like their very own character and see if people can guess what they are.

Decking out your hearing technology can be great, but if dressing up is your favorite part about Halloween you may want to go a different route. Instead of making just your hearing aids festive, pair them with your favorite costume! Want to be a superhero? Make them one of your superpowers. Want to be a 1950’s glam girl? Deck them out in jewels and make them more fabulous than anything else you are wearing. Want to be a robot from outer space? Call them a part of the advanced engineering from the future! Your hearing aids should never be an exception to what you wear as your costume, they should be incorporated as a way to make your outfit more awesome. Don’t be afraid to get as creative as you can be—you may come up with something absolutely genius you never could have imagined.

It may not be your thing to dress up and go crazy over costumes for Halloween, but why not try pairing your hearing aids with your best fall outfit? It’s easy to admit that this time of year is a particularly cozy time to whip out your scarves that have been in storage and the jackets that have been pushed all the way to the back of the closet. So why not take advantage of such a stylish time of year? You may be attending a party or two for Halloween, or maybe just taking the kids around for trick-or-treating, but no matter what you do, throw on your favorite outfit and enjoy your favorite fall outfit. Instead of putting on a cap to cover up your hearing technology, instead try to match your hearing aids to your best outfit. You may find they are your new favorite fall fashion accessory!

No matter if you celebrate Halloween with a full blown party, costumes, food, treats, or you simply hand out candy to the kids in the neighborhood, it’s important to remember that hearing aids should not be hidden. Hearing technology should be celebrated and incorporated into our favorite Halloween festivities!
